A prime decomposition theorem for θn-curves in S3

We define a prime decomposition for a θn-curve by 2-spheres each of which intersects each edge of the θn-curve at exactly one point and prove that every nontrivial θn-curve can be uniquely decomposed into a finite number of prime θn-curves.
