The dimension of an LCA group in its Bohr topology

Let G be a locally compact Abelian group and let G+ denote the same group endowed with the Bohr topology. That is, the topology that the group receives from its Bohr compactification. We prove that the covering dimension of G is preserved by the Bohr topology of the group.
