Spaces u-equivalent to the n-cube

We give an internal characterization of spaces X such that the space Cp(X) of continuous real-valued functions on X, endowed with the pointwise convergence topology, is uniformly homeomorphic to the space Cp(In) of functions on the n-dimensional cube In=[0,1]n.
