On the wave scattering theory

An integral approach, recently developed to solve the Dirichlet and Neumann boundary value problems for the scalar Helmholtz equation, is applied to scattering of harmonic spherical fields by planes. This integral formulation is extended to mixed boundary value problems for wave scattering by impedance planes and the solutions of the corresponding equations are discussed for spherical incident waves.
