Point reduction in almost symplectic manifolds

This paper shows how the Marsden-Weinstein reduction procedure for sympletic manifolds can be implemented to the almost symplectic category. First, we study conditions for which a non-equivariant momentum map can be transformed into an equivariant one by modifying the group action. Then, we state a point reduction theorem for almost symplectic manifolds
