Abstract :
One of the recent movements in the domain of cognitive science which hopes and tries to explain how brain learns is “Connectionism”. In this study, the authors first give an explanation of “Connectionism” and the related models, and then they try to provide a criticism based on the ideas of current critics and the eleven Guidelines of Geoff Jordan (2004). In order to provide a better understanding, a comparison to Modularity Model of brain function is also provided. Although this study is a step forward and improves the body of existing literature, there is a long way ahead of us in this realm.
