Abstract :
Music, as an important part of cultural identity of Iranians, has a history of several thousands of years. Hura is a song dating back to seven thousands of years and is a call for justice, good speech, good thoughts, and good deeds and it might just as well be the mother of all songs in the world. It is the simplest and the most authentic type of music, which now has been divided into thousands of other language species. The aim of this study is to analyze the Hura song as one of the oldest types of music and art, and also introducing it to various groups of society. Its theoretical framework is based on doctrine of diffusionism point of view. This study has been performed using methods such as study of documents and field method, and the results show that Hura is very popular among Kurds, but due to lack of awareness, unfortunately Hura and "HuraCher"s popularity is declining among the younger generation. Hura has free rhythm with inside pharyngeal tremulants and alternate and reciprocal exxons and beside some parts, the composition and structure are often repetitive. "HuraChers" use the lowest part of their chest and larynx to produce sounds and tremulants.
