An extension of Toumiʹs method and its application to the two-dimensional, unsteady, shallow water equations

An extension of a weak formulation of Roeʹs approximate Riemann solver studied recently is applied to the two-dimensional, unsteady, shallow water equations, and it is shown that this leads to an approximate Riemann solver presented earlier for such flows.
