Stability of a model for cell metabolism

The Lyapunov stability is studied for a model of cell metabolism. Explicit sufficient stability conditions formulated directly in terms of the cell characteristics are derived by using a method of integral estimates. The effect of the cell parameters on the stability of transport of ions and molecules across the cell membrane is analyzed numerically.
