Identification of source terms in nonlinear convection diffusion phenomena by sinc collocation-interpolation methods

The solution of an inverse problem related to the identification of a source term for convection diffusion equations in one space dimension is dealt with in this paper. The solution technique is based on collocation-interpolation methods which use sinc functions and on a suitable application of domain decomposition methods.
