Using computer simulation for analyzing educational strategies

Mathematical modeling and computer simulation methods are proposed for studying educational strategies that cannot be examined easily in an operational setting. The computer simulator developed follows students from K-12 and computes a measure of the effect of different educational strategies on learning. Issues modeled included teacher burnout, allocation of training funds, and hiring/firing practices.
