Abstract :
In this paper, we are interested in a contact problem between a thin shell and a rigid punch. We propose a numerical method for solving this problem. This method is based on an incremental process and the use of the conjugate gradient method. The context of this work is the isotropic elastoplastic material with large strains in the quasi-static state with the Lagrangian formulation updated for each loading increment. Some numerical results are given to validate the proposed numerical method.
