Oscillation results for second-order half-linear differential equations

Oscillation criteria are established for a class of second-order half-linear differential equations. By using the generalized Riccati technique and the averaging method, we give some sufficient conditions for all solutions of these equations to be oscillatory. Asymptotic behavior for forced equations is also discussed.
