Abstract :
A phase space for first-order partial functional differential equations is constructed. Carathéodory solutions of quasilinear equations with initial-boundary value conditions and initial problems on unbounded domains are investigated. Theorems on the existence and uniqueness of solutions are proved. The methods of bicharacteristics and functional integral inequalities are used. Examples of phase spaces are presented.
