An Introduction to Lifestyle: Origin of Existence and its Agency in Elementary Education

This article purports to propose and analyze an effective strategy for the implementation of lifestyle in elementary education settings. Once we accept that a good life requires a comprehensive model for human development, we would consider it necessary to investigate the issue. Indeed, growth and transcendental development is an ultimate goal for every human being, which may not be attained unless a certain framework, lifestyle, is explored properly. Therefore, this article provides a general description of lifestyle and then addresses the western theorists’ view of lifestyle. Subsequently, the study introduces Islamic lifestyle, its philosophy and existential-necessitating dimension. Finally, having delineated an interpretation of lifestyle in education, we would introduce agencies that can contribute to such a lifestyle in the elementary education setting.
