Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of non-fragile H ∞ control for a class of uncertain Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy neutral systems with linear fractional parametric uncertainties is considered. The non-fragile H ∞ control problem is to design a state feedback controller with parameter uncertainties such that the L 2 -induced gain of the mapping from the exogenous input to the controlled output is less than some prescribed level. Based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, the descriptor model transformation and LMI approach, new sufficient conditions for solvability of this problem are obtained. It is shown that, by a novel controller design method, the desired state feedback fuzzy controller can be constructed by solving a set of LMIs and the minimum H ∞ disturbance attenuation level can be obtained via using the LMI algorithm “mincx”. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical results.
