Abstract :
This paper shows by an example that Lemma 2 in Wang and Elhag [On the normalization of interval and fuzzy weights, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 157 (2006) 2456–2471] is false and presents the modified lemma and the correct proof of Theorem 5.
