Abstract :
The paper deals with diploid chromosomes count and chromosome morphology including fundamental arm number
and total complement length of a Stream fish Barilius vagra. Fishes collected from Kota, Stream of Jammu. The present
observation have been employed to discuss the Phylogenetic Kinship and karyotype evolution in fishes.
