Abstract :
The electrochemical fluorination (ECF) of trialkylphosphines results in the formation of the corresponding tris(perfluoroalkyl)difluorophosphoranes in good yield. In the case of ECF of tri(iso-butyl)phosphine, isomerisation of iso- into n-alkyl compound occurs.
