Abstract
Facile electron transfer reactions between linear triblock copolymer SBS (polystyrene–polybutadiene–polystyrene) and per(poly)fluorodiacyl peroxides at room temperature (∼20°C) in dichloromethane produced high yields of olefmic per(poly)fluoroalkylated SBS with excellent water and oil repellency, chemical resistance and much lowered refractive indices.
