Abstract
[((Me3Si)3C)2Al2(μ-F)F4K]x (6) is a new organoaluminum alkali fluoride with an infinite potassium zig-zag chain. The compound is accessible either by reaction of [(Me3Si)3CAlF2]3 with KF or by treating [(Me3Si)3CAlF2]3 with potassium metal.
