Abstract
The crystal structures of CF3C6F4OC6F4 (=RF) substituted chalcogen derivatives, RFSH, RFSSRF, RFSeSeRF, RFSeRF, resulting from reactions of RFLi with sulfur or selenium and subsequent chemistry, were determined. The reaction of RFLi with elemental tellurium was re-investigated. Elucidated from X-ray diffraction, and confirmed by NMR spectroscopy, the product, a mixture of two isomers of (CF3C6F4OC6F3Te)2, has the constitution of a substituted perfluorotelluranthrene derivative.
