Abstract :
Perfluorinated benzocycloalkenes (benzocyclobutene, indan, tetralin), alkylbenzocycloalkenes and alkylbenzenes react with CF3COOH/SbF5 at 20–50 °C giving the corresponding carbonyl derivatives.
