Abstract
This paper utilises the results of natural chloride migration testing, and probabilistic deterioration modelling, to compare the predicted time to initiation of corrosion of five Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) options. The experimental results are utilised as statistical input parameters in a probabilistic deterioration model, facilitating the robust evaluation of marine durability performance with uncertainty incorporated. The effects of the accelerated test conditions on relative performance are also explored herein through utilisation of an exposure level calibration factor developed from marine bridge data collected in 2007. The SCC mix with Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag was found to perform best throughout the analysis.
