Abstract :
The ring-chain tautomerism of spiro-1,3-oxathianes, in solution and in the solid phase is revealed. The kinetic parameters of the reaction are determined by NMR investigations using the trans–cis isomerization of substituted spiro-1,3-oxathianes.
