Solid-phase synthesis of 4-aryl-1,4-dihydropyridines via the Hantzsch three component condensation

We report the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridines on solid support utilizing the Hantzsch condensation. Unwanted reactive impurities were removed from the desired products, by selective cleavage from solid support. The synthesis of a 272 compound library is reported using the methods described.
