Abstract :
The Binol/Ti(OiPr)4 chiral titanium complex catalyses the asymmetric cyclocondensation of polyfluoroalkylaldehydes with the Danishefsky’s diene leading to chiral polyfluoroalkyl dihydropyrenones with high enantiomeric excesses.
