Abstract :
A modified Yamamoto–Yanagisawaʹs catalyst (S)-Tol-BINAP·AgNO3 was successfully applied to a catalytic enantioselective allylation reaction of aldehydes in an aqueous system. The reactions with aromatic aldehydes afforded the desired products in high yields with good stereoselectivities.
