Synthesis and characterisation of 5,11,17,23,29-penta(tert-butyl)-32,33,35-tri[((1S)-camphor-10-sulfonyl)-oxy]-34,36-dihydroxy-calix[5]arene

The reaction of (1S)-camphor-10-sulfonyl chloride with the p-tert-butylcalix[5]arene afforded the corresponding 1,3,4-triester, which was fully characterised by high-resolution NMR techniques.
