Abstract :
The syntheses of the methyl (2S,3S)-2-amino-3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3-t-butyldimethylsilyloxypropanoate and a precursor of the cycloisodityrosine unit of RA-IV are described.
