Abstract :
A novel series of 5,5-diaryl-2-amino-4-pentenoates were synthesized. Chirally defined substrates were obtained efficiently using Oppolzerʹs sultam as a chiral auxiliary and a palladium-catalyzed stereoselective hydrostannylation.
