Abstract :
A new 3-oxaquinolizidine alkaloid (3R*,4aR*,6S*,8R*)-6-hydroxy-3-methyl-8-pentylperhydropyrido[1,2-c][1,3]oxazine 6-(pyrrole-2-carboxylate) (hyperaspine) has been isolated from the ladybird beetle Hyperaspis campestris and its structure determined by 2D NMR and MS methods.
