Abstract :
A general method for the synthesis of polyhydroxylated stilbene monofluorinated on the central double bond based on the Suzuki reaction between a bromofluoroolefin and a phenylboronic acid is described. Synthesis of fluorinated analogues of resveratrol and pterostilbene was achieved using this strategy.
