Hydrogen–steel interaction: relationship between variations of mechanical properties of AISI 304 steel and hydrogen content

AISI 304 steel was studied in the field of hydrogen storage. Specifically, the hydrogen quantity by electrolytic charge at a variation time for a predetermined current density was measured. Then this quantity was compared to the variation of mechanical properties at the same charge time. Finally, a parallel was drawn between FCC and BCC hydrogenated lattices.
