Abstract
By exploiting the chemistry of arene tricarbonylchromium(0) complexes, some analogues of antimalarial marine isonitrile diterpenoids were synthesized in a completely diastereoselective fashion and their activity against the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum was assessed in an in vitro assay.
