Abstract :
Lipase-catalyzed amidation of 2-(2-aminoethyl)-1,1′-binaphthyl (±)-3 gave optically active 2-[2-(acylamino)ethyl]-1,1′-binaphthyls (R)-6a–c with high enantiomeric excess.
