Abstract :
Rearrangement of alkoxycarbonyl imidazole acryl azides in phenyl ether at 200°C yields imidazo[1,5-c]pyrimidinone or imidazo[4,5-c]pyridinone derivatives, depending on the size of the alkoxy substituent.
