Abstract :
A series of new α-diketone derived gem-difluorinated mono-hydrazone derivatives are easily obtained in moderate to good yields from the tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene-mediated reductive coupling reactions of chlorodifluoroacetylated dialkylhydrazones with aromatic aldehydes, ethyl pyruvate and an N-tosyl aldimine.
