  • Abstract
    A novel metabolite from Aspergillus terreus, named terreinol, was isolated and its biosynthetic origin was determined by NMR based on the incorporation of [1-13C]-d-glucose. The labeling pattern indicated a predominant polyketide biosynthetic origin for this metabolite.
