Abstract
A new methanofullerene derivative with an ammonium subunit has been prepared and its ability to form a supramolecular complex with an oligophenylenevinylene (OPV)–crown ether conjugate evidenced by NMR, electrospray mass spectrometry and luminescence experiments.
