Consistency proof of Feldbergʹs simple BDF start in electrochemical digital simulation

A proof of the consistency of the simple method used by Feldberg and coworkers to start a simulation using the BDF algorithm, coupled with a time correction, is provided. The method provides highly accurate results with little computational effort and is mathematically fully justified.
