Abstract
The adsorption processes of chloride and bromide are investigated by means of impedance spectroscopy. A physical model is proposed to obtain different kinetic and mass transport parameters at low concentrations of halides. Differential capacitance curves are determined by employing different equivalent circuits depending on the concentration of halides. The excess surface charge densities were calculated by integration of the total capacitance obtained from impedance spectroscopy.
