Pb clusters fragmentation. A study by a dynamical Hartree–Fock method

In this work the fragmentation of small Pb cluster of size N⩽24 is studied with a time-dependent Hartree–Fock method. Fragmentation is obtained by increasing the kinetic energy Ek of the nuclear system and occurs for Ek in the range 3 eV. The effect is discussed in the light of the binding and evaporation energies evaluated under stationary conditions.
