Abstract :
With the microscopic phase-field dynamic model, the effect of elastic strain energy on the incubation period of Ni–Cr–Al alloys is studied. The simulation results demonstrate that elastic strain energy does not change the precipitation sequence of alloys. There exits the incubation period of DO22 phase and L12 phase in the alloys with different precipitation sequence. If DO22 phase precipitates first, the incubation periods of both phases are prolonged with the elastic strain energy increased. If L12 phase precipitates first, with the increase of elastic strain energy, the incubation periods of L12 phase is shortened while that of DO22 phase is prolonged.
