Abstract :
The elastic–plastic constitutive equations are suitable to describe the behavior of materials at relatively low temperatures. However, with increasing the temperature, strain rate and viscosity effect increase such that after melting, the material behaves like a viscous fluid. Therefore, when the behavior of material at high temperatures is intended, thermo-viscoplastic constitutive equations should be used. The subject of this study is to develop the constitutive equation of austenitic stainless steel 310s at high temperature taking into account viscosity and strain rate effects.
