Abstract :
We calculate the double photoemission spectra from the occupied surface state of Cu(1 1 1). We present and discuss the regularities in the angular and energy distributions of the process. For the emission from the d-band of Cu(1 1 1), the depth of generation of correlated photoelectron pairs is estimated.
