Preparation and investigation of sol–gel TiO2–MnO

Sol–gel TiO2–0.25MnO has been obtained using a colloidal solution. The thermal transformation behavior of the fresh xerogel was followed by simultaneous thermal analysis (STA) and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). Sol–gel coatings were deposited by dipping and the successive dense films were optically characterized using UV–VIS–NIR spectrophotometry.
