Abstract :
Here we described, cost effective, green and environmentally friendly approach for synthesis of AgNPs using edible pine mushroom Tricholoma matsutake. The synthesized AgNPs were characterized using UV–visible spectroscopy, particle analyzer and X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurements were carried out to identify the possible biomolecules responsible for capping and efficient stabilization of the nanoparticles. The size and morphology of nanoparticles were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In addition, the antimicrobial activity of as prepared AgNPs was investigated against Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis using the agar diffusion method.
