Abstract :
In this work, the stability over time and temperature of the interface in Li/gel electrolyte/vanadium-telluride glass systems are examined by using ac impedance spectroscopy. The results obtained indicate a moderate increase of the interfacial resistance with time, while higher differences were observed in terms of increasing temperature. The resistance of the vanadium-telluride glass/gel electrolyte passivation film is higher than that of the Li/gel electrolyte interface indicating that this will be the governing factor in the behaviour of the Li/gel electrolyte/vanadium telluride glass rechargeable battery.
