Abstract
A brief description of the general economic situation in the Amur region from 1991 is presented. The investments in the fuel-energy complex of the region are discussed: the part of investments in this branch of industry is shown to have a tendency to grow stably. The present financial situation in this complex and problems of its tariff and energy conservation policy are discussed.
